The Mud Shack to Support Empty Bowl Fundraiser with 200 Bowls

In hopes of making 200 bowls to support Arcadia University and Chestnut Hill College’s Empty Bowl Benefit Dinners, on October 25th The Mud Shack will be offering discounts on painting bowls, running workshops and donating clay for potters who want to come in and throw bowls on pottery wheels. On October 25th from noon to 5pm anyone can come in and paint a bowl to donate and The Mud Shack will waive their studio fee. In addition, at 12:30pm there will be a Japanese Tea Bowl making workshop for ages 10 to adult, there will be a Clay Coil Bowl making workshop at 2:30pm for ages 4 to adult and at 4pm will be a Fall Leaves Painting workshop for ages 8 to adult. All workshops are $18/person and you must register in advance by calling (215) 393-8380. Proceeds will go to Interfaith Hospitality Network of Philadelphia and Heifer International.
