The month-long exhibition of the 43rd Annual New Jersey Senior Art Show and new Meadow Lakes Art Gallery Opening are the crowning events of PHS Senior Living Foundation’s celebration of October as National Arts and Humanities Month. The juried Senior Art Show features 241 pieces, which are the winning works of art from seventeen participating county art shows across the state. The Senior Art Show is free and open to the public from October 6 through October 29, 2009 however, reservations are necessary. The Art Show visitor will be delighted with the setting in the magnificent Meadow Lakes Gallery, enjoying not only the art but also the outdoor views of gardens and ponds as they stroll through the Gallery. With eleven categories of artwork that include drawing, mixed media, sculpture, photography, pastel, print, digital imagery and fine art crafts, there is something to suit every taste. The Senior Art Show is proof that creativity does not diminish with age.
