The devastation caused by the recent earthquake that demolished part of Haiti has devastated the Haitian people and their country and caused the world to act on their behalf. In an effort to help Haitians rise from the rubble that is now their home, Southwest Philadelphia activist Paul “Earthquake” Moore has brought back his Spirit From Afar campaign to raise money and personal items for those in need. Join Moore from 5-7:30 p.m. on Friday, February 19th for Skating for Haiti II at the Elmwood Skating Rink in Philly(2406 S. 71st St.). The event costs $7 to enter, and skate rental is only $1! Please bring a personal item for donation, such as a feminine hygiene product, soap, deodorant, clean wipes, toothbrushes & toothpaste, medical supplies or a phone card for victims of the earthquake.
For more information please contact Paul “Earthquake” Moore at 215-385-2696.
