On June 5th, Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence will officially kickoff the Miles for Mentoring campaign. BBBS Independence CEO, Marcus Allen, and Governing Board member, Gary Jonas, will embark on a 3,700 mile ride from San Francisco to Atlantic City with the goals of raising critical funding and to bring awareness to the 750+ local children currently on the waiting list to me matched with a mentor and role model.
Beasley Media Philadelphia will call upon its listeners to support this mission with an all day, all station Radiothon on Wednesday, June 9th.
