To provide urgently needed primary basic services and spay/neuter surgeries to shelter animals, other rescue organizations and the general public, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) will open its Spay/Neuter and Wellness Clinic on Monday, March 22. The ribbon cutting ceremony, press conference, and reception will begin at 11 a.m. and will feature guest of honor Congressman Bob Brady, members of Philadelphia City Council, PAWS’ Board of Directors and its largest supporters.
The PAWS Spay/Neuter and Wellness Clinic, located at 2900 Grays Ferry Avenue, will operate seven days a week beginning March 22nd. PAWS is still actively raising funds for the facility’s operating costs to enable the organization to reach full capacity within the first three to six months and to offer services to as many animals as possible.
