Join the Party Patrol at the King of Prussia Mall (160 N Gulph Rd) for a dog agility demonstration in coordination with the 2013 National Dog Show.
Lourdes Edlin, a renowned animal trainer, whose dogs compete in the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge Tour, will run her canine athletes through a pro-style agility course, located between Lord & Taylor and Neiman Marcus. She has specialized in canine sports (Flying Disc and Agility) for over 15 years and has competed at over 300 competitions. Edlin and her dogs have appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with David Letterman and the Today Show.
Edlin will feature three of her dogs:
- Surf, a year and a half-old Golden Labrador Retriever, who has also been a model since he was a puppy;
- Echo, a two year-old Border Collie who puts a twist on every trick he knows and can even water ski;
- Mac, a three year-old Terrier mix, who Lourdes rescued from a shelter and calls “Mr. Personality.”
The dogs will perform outside The Plaza near the crosswalk at 12:15p and 4:15p. on Thursday, with a rain date set for Friday at the same times. Admission is free and people of all ages are welcomed to come enjoy the dog performances. Parking is located throughout the mall, but most conveniently, to the right of the Neiman Marcus building, in between the Plaza and the Court.
