Join BEN-FM and show your support as the American Cancer Society commemorates 20 years of saving lives through Making Strides Against Breast Cancer® and celebrate the more than 2.5 million breast cancer survivors who will see another birthday this year, thanks in part to Making Strides supporters. Join the walk in Philadelphia to honor survivors, remember loved ones, fight back and raise money for breast cancer research, education, advocacy, patient services, and community partnership grants.
This year, the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event in Philadelphia will be an enrollment site for the Cancer Prevention Study- 3(CPS-3). This study will help American Cancer Society researchers better understand the genetic, behavioral, environmental, and lifestyle factors that cause or prevent cancer. All community members between the ages of 30 and 65 who have never been diagnosed with cancer are invited to enroll in this study. Pre registration is not required.
