Fundraiser for Japan

The Shangri-La Inn, 138 Montgomery Ave in Bala Cynwyd(next door to Starbucks), will be hosting a fundraising event and donating all proceeds for all meals served that day to Peace-Winds Japan, an international non-governmental organization specializing in disaster relief. Peace Winds is transporting and setting up large emergency disaster relief shelters in Miyagi Prefecture, as temporary housing for the many displaced survivors. Shangri-La is open from 11:30 a.m. through 10:00 p.m. Reservations are recommended for the fundraiser. Call 610-668-2100 for more info.
