We are very excited to have the Love Jones Dance Band play the event. Love Jones is currently ranked as the number one dance band on the entire East Coast by Gigmasters.com, and was the 1st place winner of the 2008 Fox 29 Best Philadelphia Wedding Band.
In addition to the great food, there will be a Chinese Auction with well over 40 baskets and a 50/50 raffle. Among the prizes to win: Philadelphia Phillies Diamond Club seats, a Kuerig coffee maker, passes to Helium Comedy Club in Philadelphia, bread for a year from Panera Bread, and Morey’s Pier & Beachfront Water park passes.
Tickets are $30, and include food, beer, and soda. Tickets can be purchased early by calling 215-628-2995. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. You must be 21 and over to attend.
Bubby’s Buddies is named for David “Bubby†Ellis, who was diagnosed with autism when he was 3 years-old. He is now a vibrant and hilarious 13 year-old. His parents, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins have banded together and formed Bubby’s Buddies.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Autism Speaks. Autism Speaks is one of the leading national organizations dedicated to providing funding for autism research to search for cures and causes of autism.
