As you may have heard, BEN-FM has partnered with the American Diabetes Association, for the Tour de Cure on May 23rd at Temple University Ambler Campus. What you may not know is that it affects the lives of millions of Americans.

More than 20 million adults and children have diabetes and 54 million are at risk. While these numbers are staggering, there’s something you can do: Join the BEN-FM team or support local riders. See links below. The Tour de Cure is a ride, not a race, with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist.

Whether participants ride 10 miles or 100 miles, they will travel a route supported from start to finish with rest stops, food to fuel the journey and fans to cheer them on! Plus live music and a special appearance by Marilyn Russell! Last year, more than 40,000 cyclists in 80 Tour events raised nearly $17 million to support the mission of the ADA: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
