Amelia Rehrman is 11 years old and was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) on 9/11/2006. Every year since 2008 Amelia has hosted “Amelia’s Diabetes Dash”.
The event is held at New Garden Township Park in Landenberg, PA. Guests are encouraged to bring their bikes, scooters, roller skates, or their own two feet, a picnic lunch, and a donation of their choice for JDRF.
Amelia says, “We need to show people we need a cure for T1D!”

Guests should please bring:
- A bike, scooter, or roller skates
- A helmet
- A nut-free lunch (we will have snacks there)
- A donation of your choice for JDRF
