AIDS Delaware Hosts Red Ribbon Runway

AIDS Delaware is excited to announce that Miss Delaware 2010, Kayla Martell is scheduled to attend Red Ribbon Runway’s VIP hour (6:00 PM – 7:00PM). General admission will begin at 7:00 PM and the event will end at 10:00 PM. After walking down the red carpet, Ms. Martell and the other guests will enjoy a stylish evening of spotting celebrity look-a-likes and noshing, while bidding on amazing items from tickets to The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in New York City to a two-night stay in Rehoboth Beach to a signed Herb Ritts print of Madonna and a gown by New York designer, Peter Soronen.

“We have many exciting items this year for the our silent auction. Some are fashion themed, such as clothing and jewelry while others are beautiful pieces of art and experience prizes, such as a sailing trip.We have items at all price levels, so there will be something for everyone!”

The highlight of the evening is a fashion show that will include models from Currie Hair Skin Nails, Emminence Front Day Spa, Michael Christopher, and Sherif Zaki Salon & The Oasis Spa wearing fashions provided by Morgan’s of Delaware Avenue, Mystique Fashion Boutique, NV Boutique, and White House / Black Market. The show will also include students from the University of Delaware’s Fashion & Apparel Studies program.

Proceeds from Red Ribbon Runway support AIDS Delaware’s statewide programs and services, including the organization’s Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach client food closets and HIV education and outreach programs.
