The Liberty Ball fund raises to provide financial aide and emotional support to pediatric cancer patients and their families. The Philadelphia Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association created this event in 2006 in an effort to continue in the tradition of Penn Stateâ€™s Dance Marathon, the largest student run philanthropy in the world which also takes on the fight against pediatric cancer.
Tickets will include Cocktail hour, appetizers, 3-course dinner, four hour open bar, and parking. Given the setup of the Please Touch Museum, cocktail hour will be held in their prestigious &#8220;Carousel House.&#8221; The Carousel will be fully operational at this yearâ€™s Liberty Ball for all attendees to enjoy. Dinner and dancing will occur in Hamilton Hall.
