2nd Annual Alex Boyes Memorial 5K Run/Walk

In the spring of 2009, Alex Boyes was an average college graduate with a lifetime ahead of him.  Unfortunately,  Alex’s dreams were cut short as he was diagnosed with melanoma and ultimately passed away from the disease at the age of 22.  Please join the Boyers Family and Gilda’s Club Delaware Valley at Warminster Community Park on September 17th as we memorialize Alex’s life at the 2nd Annual Alex Boyes Memorial 5K Run/Walk.  After the race, festivities will continue with food, crafts and raffles to win two Flyers tickets.  All proceeds will benefit Gilda’s Club Delaware Valley, a non-profit organization located in Warmnster that provided free social and emotional support to people living with cancer.  For more information please contact Beth at Gilda’s Club at 215-441-3290 or visit http://www.FirstGiving.com/GildasClubDelVal.  Register by September 9th for a reduced cost and free T-shirt.  This event is presented by Sodexo.
