On Nov. 1, 2009 the historic Ben Franklin Bridge will close to thousands of runners and walkers for the largest 10K in the tri-state area–the 2009 Cooper Norcross Run the Bridge presented by AmeriHealth NJ. The 10K certified course begins at the base of the Ben Franklin Bridge, crosses the bridge, doubles back and continues along the Camden Waterfront finishing in Campbell’s Field. A two-mile bridge walk immediately follows the start of the run. All proceeds benefit Larc School. Located in Bellmawr, NJ, Larc School is a non-profit special education school serving children with severe disabilities and their families throughout six counties in South Jersey.
