Executive Director Lucienne Beard has been active with API since 1994, first as a volunteer and a board member and then on staff as Program Director from 2000-2007. She has a BA in International Affairs from The George Washington University and an MA in American History from Rutgers University, and has over twenty years of experience working with historic sites and cultural organizations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
