First, Kristen speaks with Kathy Jordan, founder of Green Street Rescue, a Philadelphia cat adoption center and the owner of Philly’s first cat café – Le Cat Café, located at 2713 West Girard Avenue. Acting as the adoption branch of Green Street Rescue, Le Cat Café allows patrons to sip coffee, tea or hot chocolate while spending time with the up to 12 cats at the café, as they roam freely throughout the space. Pay by the hour to cuddle with the kitties, take part in a class or activity hosted at the café, or best of all – perhaps find your new furry family member.
