First, Kristen speaks with one of the country’s leading wine and beer authors and educators, Philadelphia sommelier – Marnie Old about the 5th Annual Pennsylvania German Society Bierfest. One of Kristen’s favorite events of the year, Bierfest has it all: music, entertainment, food, tons of German-inspired BEER and extensive learning opportunities too. Marilyn chats with Tammy Ketrick, Coordinator of Pottstown Family Home & Expo in support of their upcoming event March 4th-5th and 5th at Coventry Mall.  The Pottstown Family & Home Expo is a three-day expo sponsored by the Building Industries Exchange (NARI-BIE)  and produced through volunteer efforts of NARI-BIE members. Local businesses are invited to demonstrate their products and services to the expo’s 10,000 plus attendees. The Expo offers drawings, prizes, demonstrations, and an all-under-one-roof opportunity for visitors to collect home improvement and building information from local professionals. Then, Kristen is joined by Jamey Piggott and Taylor Montgomery – Event Coordinators at the ALS Association’s Greater Philadelphia Chapter to talk about the ALS Association’s sweetest event – Hot Chocolate!
