On this week’s show, Alpha Bravo Canine’s Beef and Bark fundraiser, Max Major at the Franklin Institute and Gloucester Township hosts the National Police Dog Trials.

Kristen talks to Jennifer Green, the founder of Alpha Bravo Canine, a wonderful organization that trains service dogs to help military veterans suffering from PTSD and traumatic brain injuries, and then donates these incredible animals free of charge to the veterans who need them. Alpha Bravo Canine is having their 2nd Annual Beef & Bark Fundraiser on September 24th from 2-5pm at Pinsetter Bar & Bowl in Merchantville, NJ. Come out for a great day of unlimited bowling and shoe rentals, free food, raffles, cash bar, prizes, and a chance to meet the veterans and service dogs in training (yep.. puppies). Last, but certainly not least, Kristen speaks with Mayor Dave Mayer of Gloucester Township and K-9 Officer Chris Gerace who is the National Chairman of the 2016 United States Police Canine Association National Police Dog Trials – which is a large scale event happening in Gloucester Township September 25-30th which will be bringing in over 150 police K-9 teams from all over the country, as well as some from Canada and Mexico. The public is welcome to observe the trials all week long, with one of the highlights being a public demonstration on September 29th at the Timber Creek High School.
