First up, Marilyn speaks with Pam Kosty, Executive Director of the Penn Museum about several upcoming Fall events at the museum including a family overnight stay. Penn Museum’s sleepover, “40 Winks with the Sphinx” , invites guests to an overnight “expedition” of the Museum. The night’s activities are geared to take intrepid explorers on a journey through time and across continents, with hands-on opportunities, through games and crafts, to explore ancient Egypt, the mummies and hieroglyphics, the ancient Greeks and Romans, the world of the ancient Maya, and more. Also coming up on 9/24 take part in the  “International Day of Peace” in honor of the United National 2016 International Day of Peace (9/21). Then, Kristen catches up with Russ “Wolf” Harper of Justice Rescue to get the details on their 2nd Annual Dog Days of Summer Event, going on at Citizens Bank Park on Saturday, August 27th from 10am-5pm. With over 200 cars, music, vendors, food, a meet and greet with Remi (one of their most famous rescues), free parking and much more – come out to this FREE family friendly event to benefit Justice Rescue and the abused and neglected animals that they save every day.
