On this episode: Global Philly, the 2nd Annual Justice Rescue Dog Days of Summer Event and Special Needs Family Fun Night at Clementon Park and Splash World.

First up, Marilyn and Global Philadelphia. Did you know that Philadelphia is the first City in the USA to receive a “World Heritage Distinction”? Joining Marilyn to share all the details on how and why (Well, we know why… cause we rock!) this happened is the Executive Director of Global Philadelphia, Zabeth Teelucksingh, who also shares details on the World Heritage Celebration party featuring Chris Matthews from MSNBC on Thursday, September 8th at the Crystal Tea Room.

Then, Kristen catches up with Russ “Wolf” Harper of Justice Rescue to get the details on their 2nd Annual Dog Days of Summer Event, going on at Citizens Bank Park on Saturday, August 27th from 10am-5pm. With over 200 cars, music, vendors, food, a meet and greet with Remi (one of their most famous rescues), free parking and much more – come out to this FREE family friendly event to benefit Justice Rescue and the abused and neglected animals that they save every day. Oh, and your fur babies are welcome to join in the fun!

Lastly, Marilyn is joined by the founders of the Autism Cares Foundation, along with Margie Ford from Clementon Park & Splash World with all the details on their Special Needs Family Fun Night at Clementon Park and Splash World this Tuesday, August 23rd. Families with special needs are encouraged to join the fun, because this night is just for them! The park will be closed to the public. Only guests registering and purchasing tickets through the Autism Cares Foundation website will be permitted to enter. Hours of operation: 6:00-8:00pm for the water park; 6:00-9:00pm for the theme park. Tickets are available for purchase after registering for the event and include admission to both parks and parking. A $5 donation from every ticket sold will be given to the Autism Cares Foundation.
