Special Needs Family Fun Night at Clementon Park and Splash World, Mark Clement, 150 Years with the PSPCA, and Jackie “The Joke Man” Martling – Episode 125

BEN Around Philly airs every Saturday morning at 7am on 95.7 BEN-FM and is sponsored by The Fillmore Philadelphia.

On this week’s episode, Special Needs Family Fun Night with Autism Cares at Clementon Park and Splash World, Mark Clement of My Fix It Up Life, Gillian Kocher and the 150th Anniversary of the PSPCA, and the very funny Jackie “The Jokeman” Martling.

Last year, 95.7 BEN-FM came together to with the Autism Cares Foundation and Clementon Park & Splash World to create the 1st Annual Special Needs Family Fun Night at Clementon Park & Splash World. The collaboration was a huge success, resulting in a special night for families all over the region to enjoy the park in a way that was more comfortable and with less noise, and stimulation while closed to the public. This year, the three organizations announce the 2nd Annual Special Needs Family Fun Night, and invite families with special needs to join the fun on Tuesday, August 1st from 6-9:30pm. The park will again be closed to the public. Tickets are available for purchase after registering for the event and include admission to both parks and FREE parking. A $5 donation from every ticket sold will be given to the Autism Cares Foundation. Find more details and tickets HERE.

Then, on a previous BEN Around Philly episode, Theresa Clement of MyFixItUpLife.com spoke with Kristen about the Philadelphia Home Show and her work as a designer, specializing in design for Alzheimer’s. Her and her husband Mark are local construction, design and DYI experts who have a website, blog and YouTube channel called My Fix It Up Life. This time around, Mark Clement joins Kristen for the first of (hopefully) many BEN Around Philly episodes to offer his tips and advice for building, spring cleaning, DYI and more. This power couple lives in Ambler and are available to help you with your next project. Contact them by e-mailing: info@myfixituplife.com.
