Dining Out For Life w/ Action Wellness, Brickfest Live, and The 86th Annual Easter Promenade on South Street

On this week’s episode, Dining Out For Life to benefit Action Wellness, Brickfest Live returns to the Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks, and the 86th Annual Easter Promenade on South Street and all of the yummy brunch spots to check out before and after!
April 20th, 2017 is an important fundraising day for HIV and AIDS service organizations in the area, specifically Action Wellness – who invites you to join over 200 participating Philadelphia area restaurants (donating 33% of the day’s proceeds) at this year’s Dining Out For Life (DOFL). Founded in Philadelphia in 1991, Dining Out For Life is now produced in over 60 cities throughout the United States and Canada and raises over $4 million annually for HIV/AIDS services. Last year in Philadelphia alone, Dining Out For Life raised $200,000. Listen as Kristen speaks with Kevin Burns, the Executive Director of Action Wellness about this year’s event, the participating restaurants, the Food Truck Pop Up, the new products and dishes specifically made for DOFL, and the first ever Makers Market at the event. This year marks the 86th Annual Easter Promenade down South Street and it’s going to be the best Easter celebration yet!
