Dutch Wonderland Opens With ‘Eggcellent Celebration’

Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster County will kick off its 2026 season with an "Eggcellent Celebration," a family-friendly spring kickoff event packed with Easter-themed activities. Guests will also have the opportunity to explore the new Dutch Wonderland Inn.

"There's so much happening this weekend. We are opening the Dutch Wonderland Inn, our restaurant Penley's Kitchen opens on Friday at 5 p.m. for dinner, so that's really exciting, and then the park is opening for the Eggcellent Celebration," said Courtney Burkarth, Dutch Wonderland's marketing director, in a statement shared with FOX43 News. "So, we have a lot of fun going on for families."

As part of the Eggcellent Celebration, visitors will be able to participate in a spring cookie decorating station with Tuft the Bunny, enjoy a juggling workshop in Market Square, join a Storytime Corner with themed characters, test their might in Whirlygig Lane challenges, meet and take photos with Tuft at the Jolly Old Lodge, and hunt for Easter eggs in a Royal Egg Hunt around the park.

Tickets and season passes are on sale with discounts of up to 40% as part of the park's opening sale.

The Eggcellent Celebration will run every Saturday and Sunday from March 28 through April 12. Bonus days include Friday, April 3, and Easter Monday, April 6.
