Lansdowne Farmers Market Opens May 2

The Lansdowne Farmers Market will return for its 19th season, opening on Saturday, May 2. This market will serve the public on Saturdays from May through October at Veterans Landing, 30 N. Lansdowne Ave. in Lansdowne (Delaware County), operating from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

According to PhillyVoice, shoppers can expect fresh produce, baked goods, prepared foods, and handmade products from regional vendors, along with live music and kid-friendly activities. In addition to the core summer market, the market team will host seasonal events, including a harvest market in November and a holiday market in December.

Guests can also expect themed market days, including a public art day in May, a Pride celebration in June, a blues-themed market in August, and a Halloween event in October.

As noted by the PhillyVoice, the Lansdowne Farmers Market has earned recognition as the No. 1 farmers market in Pennsylvania by the American Farmland Trust.
