Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Aaron Nola will host his second annual Charity Poker Tournament, presented by Yuengling, on April 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The tournament will take place in the CP Rankin Club at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Phillies.

Proceeds from the event benefit Philabundance, the region's largest food bank, and Team RWB, which supports veterans' physical and mental health.

Attendees will get chances to play poker with Nola and other celebrities, enjoy cocktails and local bites, tour the ballpark, take on-field photos, and see appearances by the Phillie Phanatic and Phillies Ballgirls. Broadcaster Tom McCarthy will serve as the emcee.

According to a news release, over the past three years, Nola and his wife Hunter, have donated more than $650,000 to veterans' causes and other Philadelphia-area charities.

“Hunter and I know the power of teamwork — and that's why this event means so much. Giving back to the community that has always supported us is an honor,” said Nola. “By standing with Philabundance in their mission to drive hunger from our neighborhoods and partnering with Team RWB to enrich the lives of our veterans, we're reminded of what true strength and service look like. When we come together for a purpose bigger than ourselves, lifting up the people who make our communities stronger, everybody wins.”

Limited sponsorship and individual tables are available. For more information on taking part in this event and making a positive impact on the Philadelphia community, visit nolapoker.com.
