Hersheypark Ride Ranks 9th in New Attraction Awards

Hersheypark has claimed a spot on the 10 best new attractions for 2026 with its new amusement park ride. The theme park continues to rack up the accolades.

Twizzers Twisted Gravity, the high-thrill pendulum ride that opened in the park last spring, was voted the No. 9 new theme park attraction in the USA TODAY 10 Best Readers' Choice Awards.

Opened in March 2025, the ride is marketed by its maker as the World's Tallest Screamin' Swing. It features a 137-foot ascent, 68 mph top speed, and a one-minute-10-second ride duration.

Those who want to experience Twizzlers Twisted Gravity and more than 70 other attractions at Hersheypark this year can save more than $100 on Season Passes when purchased on Hersheypark.com.

This recent acknowledgment adds to the accolades that Hersheypark has received in 2025. Hersheypark was recognized by USA TODAY readers last April as the eighth best theme park in the United States and appeared in the 2025 10Best Readers' Choice Awards in multiple categories. Recently, Hersheypark's Christmas Candylane was voted as No. 9 among the Best Theme Park Holiday Events for 2025.

The USA TODAY 10Best selections are selected from a field of 20 nominations chosen by a panel of experts. They include a combination of USA TODAY editors, editors from 10Best.com, and other contributors. The contest offered members of the public four weeks to cast their votes for the attraction of their choice.
