- The Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration returns Jan. 19 at Kennett High School, marking the 25th anniversary of the MLK CommUNITY event with the theme "Lift Every Voice, 1776-2026." Doors open at 9 a.m., and the program begins at 10 a.m.
- Longwood Gardens presents A Longwood Christmas through Jan. 11, followed by Winter Wonder from Jan. 16 to March 22, delivering expansive horticultural displays across its 1,100-acre estate in East Marlborough, Kennett, and Pennsbury townships.
- The Willowdale Steeplechase will take place on May 9 in East Marlborough Township, featuring horse and pony races, Jack Russell terrier races, dress competitions, and more at the scenic 160-acre rural setting at 101 E. Street Road near Routes 926 and 82.
- Festival of Flight, the region's premier airshow, is planned for Aug. 8–9 at New Garden Flying Field (N57) in Toughkenamon, featuring aerial aerobatics, vintage cars, military aircraft, local food, and live music.
- The Mushroom Festival in Kennett Square returns Sept. 12–13 for its 41st edition. The one-mile street fair spotlights the region's mushroom industry and its substantial economic impact on Chester County and the state of Pennsylvania.
