Philadelphia Orchestra Continues Family Discovery Series

The Philadelphia Orchestra and their "Family Discovery Series" continues a rich tradition of engaging children and families in the joys of experiencing live music. 

"Since 1921, the Philadelphia Orchestra has been performing programs for kids and their parents and grandparents. This was started by Leopold Stokowski... Over the last 25 years, it's turned into the Family Discovery Series. It's a great way to introduce kids to music," said Ryan Fleur, president and CEO of The Philadelphia Orchestra and Ensemble Arts, to 6abc.

Upcoming Family Discovery Series shows for 2026 include Peter and the Wolf on Feb. 7 and "The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra" on March 14.
