Wildwood To Host Free Family Holiday Event

Wildwood is hosting a free Family Holiday Celebration at the Wildwoods Convention Center on Saturday, Dec. 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event will feature holiday lights, music, crafts, performances, and a tree lighting at 4 p.m.

According to The Cape May County Herald, movie screenings of classic holiday films will run in Meeting Room 3 beginning at 9:30 a.m. They include Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol, The Grinch, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and The Polar Express.

This event will also offer a shopping bazaar, children's crafts and stocking-making tables, face painting, balloon twisting, free movie screenings, and a Santa appearance. Activities are scheduled to take place from morning through the afternoon.

Stage entertainment for the family holiday event in Ballroom C will feature performances by the JWB Brass Quintet, Wildwood Catholic Academy, Santa's arrival, a magician, several school choirs, and the Avalon String Band, all leading up to the tree lighting.
