The Bucks County Playhouse is set to entertain audiences this holiday season with Elf: The Musical, running now through Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026.
According to Broadway World, the production is adapted from the popular film Elf, starring Will Ferrell. The adaptation features a book by Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin, music by Matthew Sklar, and lyrics by Chad Beguelin. Elf: The Musical is presented at the Bucks County Playhouse by an arrangement with Music Theatre International.
On stage, Chris Stevens stars as Buddy the Elf, who travels from the North Pole to New York City to find his birth father and uncover his true identity. Stevens is joined by Brian Ray Norris as Santa, Juson Williams as the store manager, John Bolton as Walter Hobbs, Ann Sanders as Emily Hobbs, Savy Jackson as Jovie, and Jenny Lee Stern as Deb. Charlemagne Fadner and Michael Hurst share the role of Michael Hobbs.
Elf: The Musical is directed by John Tartaglia, with choreography by Shannon Lewis. The design team includes Anna Louizos and Craig Napoliello for scenery, Robin L. McGee for costumes, J. Jared Janas for hair and wigs, Katie Whittemore for lighting, Bart Fasbender for sound, and Michael Salvatore Commendatore handling projections. Michael A. Ferrara serves as music director, and Amy Rauchwerger serves as production stage manager.
Elf: The Musical concludes the Bucks County Playhouse's 2025 season, sponsored by Bank of America.
