Get your skates ready, Delco! The award-winning Energy Transfer Veterans Memorial Rink is officially back in Newtown Square for the 2025–26 season. Flight On Ice is reopening its beloved outdoor rink at 4901 West Chester Pike, right next to Starbucks and Bonefish Grill, making this winter brighter than ever for families, friends, and local businesses alike.

Since its debut in 2021, the Energy Transfer Veterans Memorial Rink has become a staple of the season and a community favorite, earning the title of “Best Fun Day Family Outing” in the Delaware County Daily Times for four years running. With the continued support of Energy Transfer, Visit Delco, and the Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association (DCVMA), this icy tradition keeps growing stronger—and giving back. To date, Energy Transfer has donated over $225,000 to the DCVMA, ensuring our local veterans remain honored and supported.

This year’s festivities promise fun for all ages, from cozy fire pits and heated tents to a kids zone with moon bounces courtesy of One Stop Party Shop. Visitors can enjoy hot chocolate, popcorn, pretzels, and other seasonal treats while taking in themed weekends and special events, including Santa’s arrival on December 18 and the family-favorite Noon Years Eve Party on December 31.

Private rink rentals are also open for birthdays, group outings, and corporate events—complete with food packages, s’mores kits, photo booths, and DJs.

The Energy Transfer Veterans Memorial Rink will be open from November 21, 2025, through February 1, 2026. For tickets, full schedules, and sponsorship info, visit flightonice.com. Lace up, Delco—the magic of winter is calling!
