South Philadelphia’s favorite Halloween tradition is back! The East Passyunk Fall Fest returns on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, transforming East Passyunk Avenue from Morris to Dickinson Streets into a vibrant, family-friendly festival. Celebrating its 13th year, this all-day gathering, centered around the iconic Singing Fountain, will feature more than 110 local artists, makers, vintage vendors, neighborhood businesses, and community groups showcasing their creativity and craft.
The festival brings the perfect blend of cozy autumn vibes and spooky season fun. Expect live music, pumpkin carving at The Gateway, a festive dog costume contest, and the much-loved South Philly-themed costume contest—where creativity and jawn-inspired costumes run wild, judged by special guests from the local scene. Little ones will enjoy the East Passyunk Creepy Crawl Trick-or-Treating experience, collecting candy as they explore spooky-themed business windows throughout the avenue.
Adding to the handmade magic, the Drunken Knit Wits and South Philly Yarn bring a Halloween yarn pop-up at the Singing Fountain with a make-and-take yarn station, perfect for visitors of all ages to get crafty. Pop-up shops along the avenue will offer everything from permanent jewelry and dried flower crowns to sports clothing and Halloween-themed hair braids and updos.
Local businesses will offer a range of specials, including pumpkin spice lattes, tattoo flash specials, unique cocktails, and Halloween sales. Plus, community favorites like Acme Markets will sponsor candy for the trick-or-treaters. The event is free to attend and rain or shine, with food, drinks, and select activities pay-as-you-go.
Since its launch by artist Elissa Kara of Nice Things Handmade, East Passyunk Fall Fest has become South Philly's signature fall celebration, blending local art, small business support, and festive fun for all ages. Ready your costumes, bring the family and furry friends, and experience the best of South Philadelphia’s creative spirit this October!
