The Borgata Fall Poker Open will return this fall after a five-year hiatus. Borgata, in partnership with its official partner BetMGM Poker, announced on Wednesday, Aug. 27.
Held from Nov. 3 to 17, the Borgata Fall Poker Open (BFPO) will take place at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Although the complete schedule for the Borgata Fall Poker Open 2025 will be announced in late September, event organizers have confirmed that the festival will offer more than $2 million in guaranteed prize pools.
According to PokerFuse.com, the BFPO has been the most-anticipated poker stop for players. During the time that the BFPO was on hiatus, the Borgata Fall Mini-Series was held in its place.
What to Expect During the Borgata Fall Poker Open (BFPO)
Participants can expect the return of popular tournaments such as the Almighty Stack, Survivor, Black Chip Bounty, Deepstack Mystery Bounty, and the Main Event/Championship. The main event is expected to provide a guarantee of close to $1 million.
BetMGM Poker will host online qualifiers for players in Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, with buy-ins starting as low as $5. Players will also be able to register directly for the BFPO events by using the BetMGM Poker platform, which includes a "skin" for Borgata Poker.
The BFPO is one of several fall events confirmed by Borgata and BetMGM.
- Borgata has launched the Borgata Big, Big Buy Series, powered by BetMGM Poker. This series, which began on Sept. 8 and runs until Sept. 17, will offer more than $6.5 million in guaranteed prize pools.
- In October, Lions of the Atlantic will debut. This event, scheduled from Oct. 8 to 19, features a cross-property format involving two locations, MGM National Harbor and Borgata. Day-one flights will be held at each venue, offering players at both venues a chance to advance.
BetMGM Poker will serve as the exclusive online platform for qualification and registration for all events. Players will be able to register in real time using the BetMGM Poker app. Additionally, online satellites will be available; buy-ins will begin at $5.
