Spirit Airlines' Atlantic City to Orlando route has ranked No. 19 among the top 30 most popular domestic routes for the airline carrier in 2025. The airline offers 140 flights per month between Atlantic City International Airport and Orlando International Airport, according to a report by Aviation A2Z.

Additionally, Spirit Airlines' Orlando to Philadelphia Route ranked No. 18, with 141 flights per month between the two locations.

Writing for Aviation A2Z, Sharad Ranabhat commented on the popularity of Spirit's service offerings: "Spirit Airlines' top 30 domestic routes show a network that performs best when it is agile, opportunistic, and ruthlessly efficient," Ranabhat said. "No sprawling hub banks or complex wave schedules here. Rather, it is flights scheduled for pleasure travelers, families, and budget-minded fliers — often departing at non-peak hours and arriving in markets with little low-cost competition."

According to simpleflying.com, Spirit Airlines began as Charter One Airlines in 1983, initially offering vacation packages to places like Atlantic City and the Bahamas before rebranding as Spirit Airlines in 1992. The carrier specializes in ultra-low-cost service, enabling travelers to pay only for the amenities they want, keeping fares highly competitive. Spirit serves Philadelphia and Atlantic City with frequent flights, focusing on leisure travelers and cost-conscious flyers. With its modern Airbus fleet and flexible point-to-point network, Spirit remains a strong choice for affordable travel in these regions.
