New Nonstop Frontier Airlines Route Connects Trenton, NJ to Myrtle Beach Just in Time for Summer

Travelers in the Philadelphia and New Jersey region now have another reason to celebrate summer: Frontier Airlines has launched a new nonstop route from Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN) to Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR). The service, which began July 10, operates twice weekly and is designed to make beach getaways even more accessible for local residents and visitors alike.

The new route is part of Frontier’s ongoing expansion, bringing the total number of nonstop destinations from Trenton to six. “We are thrilled to begin offering ultra-low fare travel between Trenton and Myrtle Beach, increasing the affordable options available to Trenton-area consumers looking for a sunny beach excursion this summer as well as to South Carolinians heading to the Mid-Atlantic,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design for Frontier Airlines.

To celebrate the launch, Frontier is offering introductory fares as low as $39 one-way for a limited time. Tickets must be purchased by July 14, 2025, and are valid for select travel dates through August 28, 2025. This ultra-low fare is part of the airline’s commitment to affordable, convenient travel for families and vacationers.

Frontier’s new route also comes with enhanced customer service features under “The New Frontier” initiative. Travelers can now opt for UpFront Plus seating, offering extra legroom and a guaranteed empty middle seat in the first two rows. The airline is also rolling out unlimited companion travel for its most loyal customers and plans to introduce first-class seating on every flight by late 2025.

Myrtle Beach remains a top summer destination, known for its beautiful coastline, golf courses, and family-friendly attractions. With this new nonstop connection, Philadelphia-area travelers can skip the layovers and get straight to the sand.
