Philadelphia’s Fishtown District is turning up the heat and the fun this summer with the return of its popular Under the El Bazaar street festival. Taking place on June 28, July 26, and August 23, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, North Front Street (from Cecil B Moore to Palmer Streets) will be closed to traffic and transformed into a lively, open-air celebration that’s perfect for all ages—including your four-legged friends!
Under the El Bazaar Fishtown 2025 promises an unbeatable mix of pop-up shopping, live music, street performers, and expanded outdoor dining. Local favorites like LMNO, Evil Genius Beer Company, Percy Street Barbecue, and The International Bar will be serving up food and drink specials, sidewalk seating, and unique in-house offerings all day long. Many businesses will also be showing their support for Pride Month, making the event even more inclusive and festive.
The festival is packed with activities for families and kids, including face painting from 12:30–2:30 PM, a balloon artist from 2:30–4:30 PM, and a caricature artist from 4:30–6:30 PM. Music lovers can enjoy a full day of entertainment, with LMNO DJs spinning from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM and a lineup of live musicians and singers throughout the afternoon.
Shoppers will love the diverse vendor lineup, featuring everything from upcycled clothes and vintage finds to handmade ceramics, jewelry, skincare products, art, and more. Notable vendors include Moss, Cositas by Mia, Loop Back Vintage, Ceramics by Melissa Schaff, Minnoka Brand, Chu Homemade, Micro Magic Photo, and many others.
Fishtown District Executive Director Marc Collazzo shares, “The Under the El Bazaar is what the Fishtown District is all about—bringing people together to celebrate local talent, support small businesses, and create lasting memories. It’s a space where families, friends, and neighbors can enjoy a day full of music, food, and fun in a safe, welcoming, and truly unique setting.”
Admission is free, and food and drink are pay-as-you-go. For more details, monthly updates, and the latest vendor lists, visit the official Fishtown District Events page.
