Join fellow Philadelphians for the 2025 FreedomFest Fireworks Festival, which will be held on July 4 at Pleasant Hill Park along the Delaware River.

Presented by One River Alliance, the admission-free, family-friendly event will begin at 5 p.m. and conclude with a fireworks display at 9 p.m. Now marking its seventh year, FreedomFest has become a much-anticipated summer event in Northeast Philadelphia.

The festival will feature diverse attractions, including performances by musicians such as Philly Heart & Soul, as well as a beer garden offering brews from Philadelphia-based Attic Brewing Co., City Distilling, and Crooked Eye Brewery. Attendees won't go hungry thanks to the array of food trucks carrying everything from classic pretzels to international cuisine.

New this year, a 40-foot Ferris wheel will treat attendees to sky-high views of the Delaware River.

The July 4 festivities will wrap up with a spectacular fireworks show by Pyrotecnico. This show will launch from a barge in the Delaware River, infusing the night sky with vibrant colors and sounds.

“What started as a bold ‘what if' has now become the second largest event in Philadelphia on July 4th,” said Dana Russikoff, founder and executive director of One River Alliance (ORA), in a MyChesCo report. “Each year, we're inspired by how this event has grown, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds who are grateful for a place in their own neighborhood to celebrate the holiday.”
