Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre Honored In Readers’ Choice Awards

If you want to take a weekend road trip outside the Philadelphia area, Lancaster County makes an ideal destination to soak up some culture, dining, and entertainment. Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre offers these features and more, all of which earned the theater a spot in USA TODAY's 10Best Readers' Choice awards list for best dinner theaters.

The theater, at 510 Centerville Road just outside Lancaster, clinched the No. 3 spot on the list, just behind Toby's Dinner Theatre in Columbia, Maryland, at No. 2 and Alhambra Theatre & Dining in Jacksonsville, Florida, at No. 1.

"Since 1987, the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre has entertained the people of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The theatre's dining room only seats 320 people at a time and presents shows that range from 'A Chorus Line' to 'Hairspray' and 'The Full Monty.' Buffet-style meals include a wide range of options, and there's a full-service bar on hand as well."
