American Pickers Coming to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland

They're coming!!!! It is time to clean out the garage, the shed, and maybe even your storage unit. American Pickers are coming to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland and they want your junk!!!

You've seen these guys on television. They seem like a bunch of good folks who see the treasure in your trash. Maybe, while you watch, you start to think about all the stuff you have packed away in your attic and you wonder, "Could I be sitting on a gold mine?" Now is your chance to find out.

The American Pickers team is making its way to PA, NJ, and MD in April. If you or someone you know has a bunch of stuff just waiting to be hauled off, there might be something of value mixed in with all the junk. After all, one man's trash is another man's treasure!

American Pickers is a show on The History Channel. Mike Wolfe and his band of merry pickers make their way across our great nation looking for the big find. Wolfe has been a self-proclaimed picker since the ripe age of 4. He has two retail shops, Antique Archaeology, where you can buy his finds; one in Le Claire, Iowa, and one in Nashville, Tennessee.

Wolfe used to make his journey with his old friend and fellow picker Frank Fritz, but after a falling out Fritz left the show. Now, Wolfe is joined by another Wolfe, his brother Robbie. A mainstay on the show has been shop manager Danielle Colby who, not only keeps things running at home but often gives the guys direction and tips on their journey. And, last but not least, Jersey John, who is a long-time friend and fellow picker of Mike's.

New episodes of American Pickers airs on Wednesdays at 9pm on The History Channel.

Those restaurants are national, so even if you're traveling on your birthday, you can get some free or discounted grub. Maybe I'll hit up both spots on my birthday and really stuff myself with pancakes. I also like getting free stuff, not just food, on my birthday. Makeup stores such as Ulta and Sephora offer special birthdays gifts for rewards members. You'll find plenty of free dessert deals on this list, as well. I'm all about dessert, free or not, but free is always better. It's worth noting that some of these programs require you to sign up in advance of your birthday, so hop on them quickly.
