Give Up Alcohol in Support of Your Pregnant Partner with Due Date, Brew Date
So, yeah. Samuel Adams – a beer company, wants you to give up alcohol in support of your pregnant partner. It’s a promotion called Due Date, Brew Date.
Basically a creative way for them to put the word out that their Samuel Adams Just The Haze non-alcoholic beer. No alcohol, but tastes just like an IPA. They claim even the experts can’t tell. The perfect option for pregnant couples, those opting in for dry January or just opting out of alcohol in general. Dry January for beer lovers.
So what’s in it for you? Well one, your pregnant partner may really appreciate the support. Going alcohol free is tough if your significant other is constantly pouring delicious cold beers in front of you. The contest may also help with your own personal goals this year. If cutting back on drinking was your 2024 New Year’s Resolution, it’s an incentive to keep it going past January. And of course, all the free non-alcoholic beer! Enough to last 40 weeks, or the length of the pregnancy. Here’s how it works.
Find the post about Due Date, Brew Date on Samuel Adams’ Instagram Page. Some time before January 22nd, 2024, tag your partner in the comments and either talk about why you are willing to give up alcohol until their due date in solidarity. Or, if you yourself are due to have a baby, tag your partner in the comments and talk about why you think they should accept the challenge.
Only one entry per person allowed. The entries will be judged on the creative reasoning given for giving up alcohol until the due date.
Five grand prize winners will be chosen on January 23rd, 2024. The winners will receive enough of Samuel Adams Non Alcoholic Beer to last you 40 weeks, or through the length of the pregnancy.
