When fall rolls around, the weather gets cooler, and many people are eager to break out their flannel shirts and sweaters. It’s prime season for fall activities like picking apples, carving pumpkins, sipping cider, and going for hayrides. It is also a great time to join in on fall festival fun.

USA Today’s 10Best has compiled a list of the ten best fall festivals across the United States. They had a group of experts put forward the nominees. Then, their editors narrowed it down to the final ones. From there, readers got to have their say and vote on the ultimate winners.

You’ll find fall festivals from various locations on their list, including Woodstock in Virginia, San Antonio in Texas, Cortland in New York, and even a Pennsylvania fall festival that made it into their top ten.
