Is Jalen Hurts Changing His Tune Following Patriots Win?

The Philadelphia Eagles beat the New England Patriots on Sunday (Sept. 10), but the game was a bit more competitive than many thought. Still, a win is a win, and I’ll take it. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts spoke to reporters after the game. He echoed the belief that a win is a win, and that’s all that matters. It’s kind of funny, though, because after the Super Bowl loss to Kansas City, Hurts implied it wasn’t all about winning, because when you “lose,” it’s not really a loss, because you learn. So, is Jalen Hurts changing his tune? Maybe a little. But he’s allowed. After all, he’s one of the greatest quarterbacks in the NFL right now.
Is Jalen Hurts Changing His Tune Following Patriots Win?
After the Eagles-Patriots game, Hurts told reporters, “First and foremost, I think that’s a great win- you know, a great win for us being able to be resilient. Obviously, for me, winning is the only thing that matters and it’s something that I’ve always said.”
Also in the press conference, Hurts talked about how he wants the Eagles to continue to grow, and he believes that’s happening. He added that it’s “always better when you win,” which again, isn’t quite what he said after the Super Bowl. But, he’s right that you can learn and grow not just from your losses but also from your wins.
The next game will be an exciting one for the Eagles. The team will take on the Minnesota Vikings Thursday (Sept. 14) night in Philly. Kirk Cousins and Jalen Hurts will make for a great match-up. Cousins recently expressed sympathy for Aaron Rodgers getting that season-ending injury last weekend. Meanwhile, before the season started, the AP ranked Hurts as the No. 5 quarterback in the NFL just behind Rodgers.
5 Quarterbacks Who Could Replace Aaron Rodgers with the New York Jets
It’s been a few days since Aaron Rodgers’ season-ending injury occurred, but it’s still all anyone is talking about in the NFL. I feel really bad for both Rodgers and the Jets. Rodgers may not be the NFL’s most well-liked quarterback, but there’s also some natural hate that comes with being on top, so Rodgers has had to deal with that his whole career. I don’t blame him for having a chip on his shoulder, if he does. Also, the Jets thought they finally had their perfect fit for a quarterback in Rodgers. There was so much excitement around him coming to the Jets. Then, within the first five minutes of Rodgers’ first game with the Jets, he got injured. So, his season is over. You can’t make this stuff up, kids. So, who could replace Aaron Rodgers with the New York Jets?
A lot of different names are being brought up in regards to the Jets’ new quarterback. According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini and CBS Sports’ Josina Anderson, the team is not interested in bringing on two of the rumored players to join the Jets: Tom Brady and Colin Kaepernick. Moreover, Jordan Schultz has also stated that Kaepernick’s agent actually reached out to the Jets. But, they’re saying it’s a no for Brady and Kaepernick. Even so, I’m including Brady on this list, because there is still a lot of speculation around him surprising people and possibly stepping in for Rodgers.
I hope that whoever the Jets brings on does well for the team, because they deserve to have a good run. I also hope Rodgers heals up completely. It would be a shame for that play on Monday to be his final play of his career. Read on for five quarterbacks who could replace Aaron Rodgers with the New York Jets.
