ESPN is ranking all of the NFL teams for how they stack up when it comes to what they've been doing in the offseason to prepare for the upcoming run. So, what do they think of Philadelphia for NFL offseason moves?

As it turns out, ESPN is very impressed by the Philadelphia Eagles.

ESPN Ranks Philadelphia for NFL Offseason

ESPN ranked the Eagles No. 4 in the league for their moves during the offseason, according to BleedingGreenNation.com. As for what went right for the Eagles, "The Eagles did well to face their new economic reality on defense." I agree there.

They also talked about Jalen Hurts and how is contract impacted the rest of the team's moves during the offseason. "After an incredible campaign, he deserved a massive raise," they stated. "His new deal averages $51 million per year. That $49.5 million difference has to come from somewhere, and while general manager Howie Roseman and his front office can get creative with the salary cap, there was no way around it: They were going to have to cut back somewhere else." So, they cut back at some positions that the Eagles don't consider "premium." A few of those include starting running back Miles Sanders, who left in free agency for the Panthers; linebackers T.J. Edwards and Kyzir White, who left; and safeties C.J. Gardner-Johnson and Marcus Epps. Read the full scoop here.

The first half of Super Bowl LVII,  Eagles fans were feeling good. Patrick Mahomes was limping and The Birds were buzzing with a double-digit lead. Things changed drastically when the teams came back on the field for the second half. In the end the Chiefs high powered offense was just too much for the Eagles to handle.

The mood also changed for Eagles fans watching at bars, watch parties and at home as the game came to an end. The final score 38-35 Kansas City.

It is a loss that will hurt for a long time. They could have won this game. They should have won this game.

The following photos  accurately depict, "The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat."
