The new study comes from MyDatingAdvisor.com, which states, "Are you a single man looking for the perfect city to call home? The United States is full of cities that are great for single men. However, there’s something for everyone, from vibrant urban centers to small mountain towns." MyDatingAdvisor.com adds that, "Whether you're looking for exciting nightlife or a laid-back atmosphere, these cities offer plenty. We’ve rounded up the best cities for single men in the USA and analyzed each based on population size, job opportunities, the dating scene, and overall quality of life."

First, let's reveal the No. 1 best city for single men in America. According to the report, that's Baltimore, Maryland. Why? MyDatingAdvisor.com calls it the "perfect city" for single men who want an "exciting place to call home." They also bring up the area's "vibrant downtown and picturesque waterfront," with lots of things to do. "From historic buildings dating back to the 1700s to international cuisine, Baltimore has something for everyone. As a result, the job market in Baltimore is robust," they add.

Philadelphia is the No. 2 best city for single men in America, according to MyDatingAdvisor.com. Of the city, the outlet says it has a "vibrant downtown area offers a chance to meet new people and explore exciting activities, while the inner-city suburbs provide safe and cozy home life." They also say the strong Philadelphia job market is a factor, "with plenty of opportunities in various industries such as finance, technology, healthcare, and more." The monthly net salary (after tax) in the city is $5,046.69. A single person’s estimated monthly costs (without rent) is $1,075.82. When you think of Pennsylvania and the great people of the Keystone State, the word "cheaters" probably doesn't come to mind. But, according to a new study, one Pennsylvania city is actually one of the highest in the country for having residents who cheat on their significant others.

MyDatingAdviser.com has put together a study looking at various categories to determine the rankings of the most unfaithful cities in America. For the study, they compared 200 of the largest cities in the U.S. across a handful of key categories, including relationship and life satisfaction; cheating intent; and affair activities. Other factors that went into the ratings included marriage, divorce and separation rates; the number of cafes and bars in the area; and how often people search for affair hookup websites on Google.

"While most would assume that bigger cities probably produce more cheaters per capita, this data shows us what we were already aware of; cheaters are everywhere, and infidelity can happen anywhere – in large cities and small ones," the study states. "It's not singular to Florida, nor is it removed from quieter states like Pennsylvania or Arizona. And for what it's worth, cheating comes in many forms and may look different for one person than it would for another. It can happen in marriages, emotionally, and just because of sudden circumstances…that have little to do with that person's current relationship."

If you're looking for love, the following cities are apparently not the best places to do so. That said, we know these studies can be off, so don't get too skeptical if you meeting someone in these towns. I can see it now. "Hey, I really like you, but you live in one of the top cities for cheaters in America, so you're probably a cheater, and I don't want anything to do with you." Yeah. That's won't go over well.
