Get Rid of Your Used Kids Stuff and Make Some Money Doing It
Looking for a way to get rid of your used kids stuff? I am. Trudy is only 11 months old and our basement is already packed. Strollers, rockers, a bassinet, clothing, you name it.
What if I told you that you can sell all of that stuff at a local event packed with parents shopping for just that sort of thing? It’s called Just Between Friends. This local consignment sale happens every other season all over the country. The closest JBF events to Philly are held at the Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks and in Reading, and those events are coming up this spring in March and April. I can’t wait.
So why talk about this in February? Well, today is the day that sign ups open to be a cosigner or work a shift at the sale. Consignors earn 60-70% on sold items and get in free (and early) to the event. That’s key. First pick at the incredible amount of very reduced priced perfectly good condition kids stuff. They have everything from Disney princess dolls to wagons and strollers and backpacks. It’s the best. I shop for all of Trudy’s clothes at these sales and I save SO much money. You can also apply to work shifts at the sales, and get in early too.
I’ve been to the sales many times, but this spring I hope to consign for the first time.
How do you sign up to consign?
The sign up to consign at the Reading event is HERE, and Oaks HERE. I just signed up for both! HERE is a guide on how to get started selling.
How do you sign up to work a shift at the sale?
You can also sign up to work a shift (or multiple) at the event. You can choose to participate as a Team Member and/or a Retail Sales Specialist. Openings are limited.
Get rid of your used kids stuff, and make some money doing it. I hope to clear out our basement this year. Then, I’ll buy a bunch of stuff at the sale anyway and fill it all back up again. But the savings!
See you there!
