Early in the week, the oddsmakers were reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles were favored to win the Big Game but a little bit. According to Caesars Sportsbook, on Monday (Jan. 30), the Eagles were a 2-point favorites over the Chiefs.
Now, a major shift has taken place.
It’s a good one, too. When it comes to betting, those putting their dollars down on the Eagles are expecting a great game, as 69% of the early money at BetMGM is expecting Philadelphia to cover the spread against the Kansas City Chiefs. Moreover, 68% of the moneyline handle is also projecting Philly to win straight up. That’s huge and definitely more than calling the Eagles slight favorites.
We don’t know the outcome, but we can predict that it’s going to be a good game, with both teams stacked with A-list players. Fly, Eagles, Fly.
