Christmas Underwater at Adventure Aquarium
Christmas Underwater is back!
The holiday season is here. You can’t miss it, even underwater.
Adventure Aquarium is once again hosting Christmas Underwater. Check it out beginning this Friday, November 25th through Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24th. It’s fun for believers of all ages (and species!). Guests can interact and snap selfies with Scuba Santa, or take a winter stroll through the Snowtunda.
Scuba Santa
If you’re wondering where Ariel gets all her new thing-a-ma-bobs for Christmas, why Santa Scuba of course! He’ll be diving daily in Ocean Realm among sea turtles, sharks, and stingrays. Depositing gifts under the World’s Tallest Underwater Christmas Tree.
World’s Tallest Underwater Christmas Tree
Think your tree is big? Who knew that the WORLD’S TALLEST UNDERWATER CHRISTMAS TREE is right here in our area!? It’s well lit too! Shining bright among the Aquarium’s shiver of sharks which includes sandbar, sand tiger and nurse sharks. (Hopefully they’ve been good this year!)
But what about snow?
This year’s Snowtunda is new and improved, sprinkling in the heart of the Aquarium in snow-like flurries.
Other holiday delights include the Aquarium’s annual “Merry Fishmas Boris” puppet show, festive fun, glowing lights, jaw-some holiday décor, and the chance to write and send letters to Santa.
An Experience
Looking for an experience to gift someone, rather than things this holiday season? Consider Adventure Aquarium for more than 15,000 aquatic animals exhibited throughout two million gallons of water. Along with the holiday attractions, there’s the usual suspects. The great hammerhead shark, a colony of endangered African penguins, and Nile beauties Button and Genny – the only hippos in the world to be exhibited at an aquarium.
