What Side Dish is Most Popular at Pennsylvania’s Thanksgiving Tables?
Can you believe Thanksgiving is just two weeks away!? I don’t know about you, but if turkey wasn’t served I could really care less. I am all about the sides, especially cranberry sauce, that’s my favorite. But how does that compare with how the rest of Pennsylvania feels?
Our friends at Pennstakes.com dug into some delicious data on the most popular Thanksgiving side dishes in Pennsylvania. To do this, they used Google Trends to find which Thanksgiving sides were searched the most between November 1, 2021, and November 30, 2021.
The favored Thanksgiving side dishes among Pennsylvanians are:
- Stuffing
- Macaroni & Cheese
- Mashed Potatoes
- Green Bean Casserole
- Cranberry Sauce
Stuffing held 31% of the votes for most popular side dish while macaroni & cheese had 22% interest. Mashed potatoes was slightly less at 21%, green bean casserole at 17%, and my favorite cranberry sauce at 9%.
