The Beatles just released the reissue of their classic 1966 album Revolver. In their native U.K., the reissue is expected to rank high on the album sales charts. However, there’s one person that could get in the way of the Fab Four topping the chart: Taylor Swift.

Swift is in the second week of sales of her latest studio album Midnights. Per Billboard, its first week of sales/streams/downloads totaled 204,000 units. The outlet noted in the midweek standingsRevolver is still lagging behind Midnights, but there is still time for the Beatles to make up ground on Swift.

The Beatles, of course, hold a number of chart records all around the world, but in recent years, those records have been broken. In August, rapper Drake passed the legendary group for most top five hits ever in the history of the Billboard Hot 100. Oddly enough, Drake also broke the Beatles’ record for most songs simultaneously in the Billboard Hot 100’s top 10 in 2018 having seven tracks in the top 10 compared to the Beatles’ five. Drake’s record beat his own record in September 2021 with nine of the top ten spots. But with the release of Midnights, Swift broke Drake’s record securing the entire top ten of the Hot 100 chart.
